The Cape Hatteras Anglers Club offers 3 membership categories. First year dues are prorated–see membership application.
Adult and life membership entitles each member to a license plate and a decal. Junior members receive a decal. The club provides a variety of activities for club members. Click here for a detailed description of club activities.
Members are asked to certify that they have read and agree with the purpose of the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club–see statement below.
To promote and develop educational programs for the conservation and preservation of fish and marine life as well as habitat and environment which sustains them. To cooperate with federal, state and local authorities in the uniform and impartial application and enforcement of pertinent laws, rules and regulations.
To promote among its membersand the public at large an interest in and advocacy for fishing, marine lif and marine resources of our State. To foster and develop a friendly and harmonious relationship between all anglers. To encourage recreational anglers to practice catch and release techniques as a means of sustaining resources.
To sponsor and conduct events relating to fishing and marine life and to provide recognition for the winners of such events sponsored by this or other organizations and to support Education and Community related activities which serve and benefit Hatteras Island.
To serve as a “Watch Dog” organization over all who would close or limit access to our beaches or Marine Resources. To educate the public regarding matters or issues affecting such acess and to help perpetuate and expand open access to our beaches and resources for all people.
How to Join
To become a member of the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club, simply fill out an application and mail it to the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club, P.O. Box 145, Buxton, NC 27920. Click here for an application. First year dues must accompany applications for membership.
